Credit Card Fraud Penalties
Illinois law considers most credit card fraud offenses to be Class 4 felonies,
which are punishable by a prison sentence between one and three years,
including a fine of up to $25,000 for each offense. The use of a counterfeit,

felony if more than $300 worth of property was acquired within a six-month
